RJ-12 6/6 MODULAR PLUG
This is a standard, 6-conductor phone plug. It is available in packs of 12 or 100. |
 |
RJ-45 8/8 MODULAR PLUG
This is a standard, 8-conductor modular plug. It is available in packs of 12 or 50. It was used for certain parts of the installation of the OG-Series signals. Call for more details. |

COUP-6 6-CONDUCTOR MODULAR COUPLER
This is a key piece of equipment. On the ends of each set of wires coming out of the signals, you will find a modular plug. The COUP-6 is hot glued under the layout near the signal. The signals wire is connected into the coupler. An extension wire is then brought back from the coupler to the central location of all the PCBs. This makes installation much faster and easier with no soldering necessary under the table. These couplers can be used on all signals except the Atlas G-Style 6930 and 6934 signals.

COUP-8 8-CONDUCTOR MODULAR COUPLER
Same as above except this is used with the Atlas 6930 and 6934 signals. |
|
ADAP-4 4-CONDUCTOR ADAPTER/SPLITTER
This device has a couple of uses in the signal system. One use is to split the signal wire to the signal and a control board. This will allow you to see the signal aspects on you control panel. A second use is to connect additional grade crossing signals to a crossing.
ADAP-6 6-CONDUCTOR ADAPTER/SPLITTER
Same as above. This is used for all the PRR signals and the 25 and 35 series signals. |
 |
JACK-6 6-CONDUCTOR SURFACE MOUNT JACK
This is used to make hard wire connections into a modular format. It allows you to make connections from one PPB to another PPB. |
 |
JACK-8 8-CONDUCTOR SURFACE MOUNT JACK
Same as above with 8 conductors. |
 |
WIRE-4M 4-CONDUCTOR MODULAR WIRE
This wire is used to make the J1 to J2 modular connections from one PCB to another PCB on the panel boards. It is also used for the extension wires from most of the signals back to the signal control panel as described in the COUP -6 description above.
It is sold in 3 formats:
1. Custom fit with 2 plugs for $1.50 plus $.10 per foot.
2. 100' length with no plugs for $10.00
3. 1000' length with no plugs for $100.00 |

WIRE-6M 6-CONDUCTOR MODULAR WIRE
This wire is used as an extension wire for all PRR signals and the 25 and 35 series signals.
It also comes in 3-formats:
1. Custom fit with 2 plugs for $1.50 plus $12 per foot.
2. 100' length with no plugs for $12.00
3. 1000' length with no plugs for $120.00 |

MCT MODULAR CRIMP TOOL
This is a heavey duty telephone tool used to strip the wire cover and attach the modular plugs to the ends of the modular wire. |
